Socializing and activities should be a priority in adult health. Respite care for caregivers also should be high priority, but for so many, there is no one to help.  Our adult health daycare model will provide the time our caregivers need to continue their normal routines and gain their required rest.  NHC will offer a wide variety of support and educational offerings for the families of our clients in addition to providing quality care for their loved ones.

Our adult health daycare will provide a wide array of activities with dementia care included.  As you know, so many dementia individuals wish to roam frequently, and our design will include a mall-like setting that will allow those who do not wish to stay and sit-still during activities to take a walk around the interior of the daycare and enjoy their freedom in a secure environment. 

Our adult health daycares will offer a variety of activity stations to include, but not limited to, the following:  Billiards, café, craft room, exercise room, game room, laundry/dish center, library, movie theatre, music room, nurse’s station, nursery for baby dolls, park, porch, tasting room, train room, & interior walking trail.

The ideal resident for our adult health daycare is adults with medical conditions that are still living at home or with a family member and require care during the day and/or require socialization during the day.  We wish to make our facility available to the lower and middle classes, as well as those that are in a higher-class income.  NHC’s adult health daycare will be competitive with current day cares in our area and will range from approximately $75-$95 a day.  We will apply for acceptance in Medicare, Medicaid, and accept private pay, and utilize donor funds, as well as, encourage those with long term insurance to utilize what is eligible in their policy.
